Rpt 46 – Title XVI Status Report

This report, as with all MDSS© viewable reports, can be filtered by one or more column values, or range of values, to produce a precise subgroup of claims that the user wishes to report on, audit, or use as an external tool for internal or external follow-up efforts. This specific report allows the Hospital to actively manage the SSI entitlement status of this previously “invisible” demographic subgroup. It can be used as concurrent management tool to identify those SSI recipients who may have (unknowingly) recently lost entitlement to this financial safety net program, and, if possible, assist the recipient in restoring this crucial income stream. Retrospectively, it is one of several data sources used to identify SSI recipients, who, for any number of reasons, been erroneously excluded from the CMS provided Medicare SSI ratio. From a more aggregate perspective, the files containing these demographic, date driven and entitlement status values are continually updating the UniversalSsiEligDb© component of MDSS© so that DMS clients have a historical and current view of SSI entitlement trends when matching against Hospital utilization data to produce an accurate, verifiable Medicare SSI covered days value by federal or hospital fiscal year.
